2011 Ohio State 3 Day Event

The 2011 NWTF Women’s 3 Day Event took place the weekend of September 16-18 at Muskingham State Park in Carrollton, Ohio. A total of eighty-one women signed up to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sportswomen and to learn, or improve, outdoor skills.

The women had the opportunity to take part in a variety of classes, including ATV’ing, Basic and advanced handgun, shotgun and archery. There were lessons in cooking, field dressing and first aid survival. Some of the ladies got creative making cement leaves, nature frames and learning turkey calling. The evenings were spent on well deserved rest, great food (Friday night Taco Night!) and afterwards, night fishing, pontooning and card games were enjoyed, as well as the ever popular campfire. Saturday night also offered the Ohio State Football game...enough said...

The Ohio State 3 Day Event had a spectacular committee...

Ann Foreman, Chuck Clevenger, Cindy Bonam, Janet Disque, Mary Carpenter, Susan Bailey, Cheryle Clevenger, Chris Stevens, Fara McClain, Lolly McCutcheon, Shawn Dickey, Tiffanie Kearns, Amy Butterfield and Alan Jones made the weekend a huge success with all their hard work and dedication!
